In 2016, I began offering repair services for clarinets alongside my performance career as a professional clarinetist. Helping others perform better is a passion of mine, and before I knew it, the word got out about my repair services. I subsequently established my own repair shop and became a full-time clarinet repair technician and sales specialist.
When I became an authorized Buffet Crampon clarinet dealer, I realized how much I love helping people find the best instrument for themselves.
The reputation of Burke Woodwinds is built on the satisfaction of my customers, many of whom travel to New York City from across the United States (and even from other countries) to buy instruments and to have repair work done by me. Clarinets vary greatly from one to the next in terms of how they feel and sound. For that reason, I carry a variety of instruments so that there’s something for everyone.
